MY PASSION FOR FITNESS

I have a huge passion for fitness as well as the relationship we hold with food. Since graduating physical therapy school in 2016 I have continued to stay educated and informed in the world of health and fitness. I became a physical therapist because I have a passion for helping others and that involves their overall health too!
 

This passion has fueled me to apply my knowledge in the area to help as many people as possible live healthier and happier lives. My personal fitness journey has changed and evolved over the years from a cardio crazed style to more resistance training (weight training). It is my goal to help share the workouts that have worked very well for not only me but so many others! Starting a fitness routine can be intimidating when not done correctly and my goal is to help you start with confidence and reach your goals!

Before I started my current fitness routine, I was…

  • Tired of looking at others posts on social media and wishing I were at the same place they are.
     

  • Constantly wishing I was in better shape, but was cardio obsessed with no results
     

  • Super frustrated from trying new fads and diets weekly with no success 

Does that sound like you too?

When it comes to fitness I 100% believe you should do things that you enjoy. Things that set your soul on fire and motivate you every day! For some that may look like yoga, walking, cross-fit training, running, dancing, swimming, weightlifting, or whatever! It doesn’t matter as long as you’re moving your body. Find something you love to do and enjoy the process, getting healthy/in shape shouldn’t be a form of punishment. It’s also vitally important to never compare your journey to those around you. We get so easily bogged down with the images we see on social media but have no idea what stage they’re at in their journey! Be true to yourself and what gives you joy. 
 

When I first started out of PT school, I thought I knew what I was doing in terms of my workout routines… I was so wrong. It wasn’t until a few years ago that I finally got in-tune with my body and have been able to master my routine and get the results I so desired. 
 

I hope to be able to guide you on your fitness journey. Whatever that may look like for you! There are so many different options out there in terms of workouts, but it’s not always easy to find the best fit for YOU! I’m here to help!
