Testament Tuesday – Moving Forward

I’m sure there are many times in your life where you feel like you can’t do something until everything else is in line. For example, we can’t have a baby we’re just not ready. Well are you ever truly ready to have a baby?? No. Yes, it’s nice to be more prepared than not when it comes to major life events but more times than not we will never be fully prepared for anything. But that shouldn’t detour us from going through with it! If we waited until all the starts aligned before we jumped into something we would literally never do anything, I am sure of it.

Jeremiah 29:11-14 says,

“I have it all planned out – plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I’ll listen. When you come looking for me, you’ll find me.”

God is telling us that we don’t have to have it all figured out. He knows the plan He has made for us and how it’ll all work out. All we need to do is pray. Go to God with our concerns, needs, wants, plans and He will listen. We don’t have to have it all figured out in order to move forward. We need to trust God. When God chooses to use us to glorify Him, He will always provide us with exactly what we need to get through it. He will give us the knowledge, the time, the resources, then place, and the plan we need in order to succeed.

Whatever it is we’ve been putting off because we’re “just not quite ready”.. it’s time to brush the dust off that we’ve allowed to settle on our dreams. It’s time to look for the place where God is directing us. It’s time to believe with all of our hearts, souls, and minds that God is with us – not just today but in every single step along the way. He will lead us to victory!

Let us pray to God to have Him fill us with courage and faith, trusting in His plan so that we can walk with Him. Moving forward with Him step by step.
